Healthy Eco-chic Interiors Workshop to be held at Water Street Market

GREEN COURAGE LLC will present a workshop on August 11, 2009 at 7:00pm as part of the Water Street Market Community Lecture Series. Entitled, “Healthy Eco-chic Interiors,” it will be led by Green Courage LLC owner Kate Dayton. “We will go over interior finish materials,” said Ms. Dayton, “and discuss what to look for.” Case studies will be used to illustrate how to make healthy and environmentally sound decisions when choosing cabinetry, furniture, floor coverings, lighting and countertops. Ms. Dayton will also discuss quick, easy and inexpensive methods for surface mold removal. Attendees will receive a handout listing local and regional resources for recycled building materials and cabinetry.
